Primers for inkjet
A category of products that require use preceding the inkjet printing process.
They can be applied on the surface or directly injected into the glaze.
DIGICER PRIMER is a range that includes products with different properties according to their formula or chemical nature.
They are designed to improve the printing definition and reduce problems relating to printer application.
A concentrated and versatile additive for raw glazes for use before the inkjet decoration process.
It can be added to the glaze in the stirring system of the glazing line or diluted in water and applied on the glaze’s surfaces with fine spray airbrushes.
Its function revolves around creating a controlled absorption of ink in the glaze so as to obtain a better colour rendering and a reduction of printing defects.
The product does not cause rheological change.
A concentrated and versatile additive for raw glazes to be used before the inkjet decoration process.
It requires application after the glazing process and before decoration.
The product decreases the vapor pressure of water, avoiding any possible condensation under the inkjet heads.
Its function revolves around maintaining a controlled absorption of ink in the glaze so as to obtain a better colour rendering and a reduction of printing defects.
These concentrated and versatile additives for raw glazes are intended for use before the inkjet decoration process.
They must be applied after the glazing process and before decoration.
The products reduce the drainage capacity of the raw glazed tile, a process that depends on the quantity used.
DICICER PRIMER 009 and 010 are also designed to improve the inkjet binder applications (such as TRUBOND). They are able to increase the absorption time of the glue, which thus optimizes the cohesive power with the grit.
DIGICER 009 is particularly suitable for floor tile production.
DIGICER 010 is designed for wall tile production.
DIGICER PRIMER 013 is a product to be applied before inkjet printing process (on fired tiles, glass or double-firing tiles) with a high-pressure spray gun.
The mechanism of action is focused on the ability to create an invisible film on the tile surface capable of stabilising the ink drops, thus ensuring a high-quality print definition.
