Fluidifying agents
This family of products works to decrease the viscosity of glazes and engobes’ aqueous suspensions.
Every product, according to its specific chemical category, can act on different rheological parameters such as flow limit, thixotropic properties, viscosity and rheological stability over the time.
CF
A fluidifying agent in solid form for glazes.
Dosed appropriately during the milling process, it significantly reduces viscosity and consequently increases the glaze’s density.
Product with an universal use that can be used both with high percentages of frit or significant percentages of raw materials.
GIESSFIX
A fluidifying agent with a sequestrant and complexing properties.
It facilitates a decrease in the viscosity in glazes and ceramic bodies, thus simultaneously producing a stabilizing action over time.
Due to its particular chemical nature, it does not modify the suspension’s stability, avoiding sedimentation phenomena.
RHODIACERAM
A deflocculant agent in solid form for ceramic bodies.
An agent that facilitates the production of slips with low-viscosity and high-solid content.
The quantity of product to be used changes depending on the desired results.
FLUICER
These are fluidifying agents for glazes that help glaze application by reducing viscosity while holding density.
Very versatile products which do not chemically interact with the glaze, preventing the formation of pin holes after firing.
They either can be used for glazes, engobes, ceramic bodies with high content of Ca-Mg and they can be added both during the milling process or in the glazing line.
Due to their particular chemical nature, they do not modify the suspension’s stability, avoiding sedimentation phenomena.
Fluidifying agents that can be used for glazes, engobes and ceramic bodies with high content of Ca-Mg.
They can be added in the glazing line or during the milling process so to obtain high density suspensions (making easier the grinding process itself).
A concentrated fluidifying agent for ceramic bodies.
Its deflocculant / dispersing properties improve the rheology, even in low doses.
It is also particularly suitable when ceramic bodies tend to gel during storage in tanks.
It possesses an immediate effect and it can be added directly in the storage tanks.
Fluicer PD 150 is a fluidifying agent with sequestrant and complexing properties.
It manages to decrease the viscosity in glazes and ceramic bodies, thus simultaneously producing a stabilizing action over time.
Due to its particular chemical nature it does not particularly modify the suspension's stability, avoding sedimentation phenomena.
Fluidifying agents in solid form for glazes and engobes.
Highly effective products that ease the milling process and subsequent high-density glaze application.
They are excellent for bell and waterfall systems and they can be added both with high rates of ceramic frits and raw material.
Due to their particular chemical nature they do not modify the suspension’s stability, avoiding sedimentation phenomena.
These fluidifying agents for glazes help glaze application by reducing viscosity while maintaining density.
They can be used for all those glazes with a high multivalent cations content.
Easily dosed both in the grinding mill or directly in the glazing line.
