THE Z&S APP OPENS THE NEW SECTION “TOOLS”
The Z&S Ceramco APP, dedicated to all those who work in the field of ceramic production, opens a new section: TOOLS.
This is an heterogenous and interactive section to be used in the daily work along the production lines: spreadsheets, tables, measuring elements and other tools that can help the everyday practice.
All tools can be considered as a real support or they can be used only to test. They will be launched on quarterly basis and they will be about several areas of the ceramic production process.
- TOOL #01 / CALCULATION OF CHEMICALS DOSAGE ALONG THE GLAZING LINE
The first focuses on the dosage calculation of chemicals along the production line.
In ceramics, the use of chemicals plays a fundamental role in providing the final product with high technical and aesthetic results and in promoting a proper application process. However, dosage calculations are often approximate or even random, even if a wrong rate may compromise both process and product. To avoid problems, there are simple calculations that allow you to precisely define the amount of chemical required and that can surely be useful.
The calculation tool contains pre-set formulas that turn the dosage of the required chemical into the corresponding kilograms. The result can be saved, printed or forwarded from the APP to the intended recipient.
- TOOL #02 / CALCULATION OF INK DISCHARGE (IN PICOLITRE)
The second tool is entirely focused on the digital printing process. To calculate the volume of an ink drop discharged by a single nozzle of a digital printhead you just need a few simple calculations, taking into consideration two main variables:
- resolution of the print-head (dpi)
- density of the ink
The simplest and practical method is to print on the surface a full field graphic.
Print for five / ten times on the same support in order to increase the total amount of ink.
Even in this case you can easily and quickly save, print or send the result.
Download the APP on Apple Store or Google Play. It is free. You just have to register.
