Glydol G 9047 is a leveling agent for glazes applied on inkjet decoration.

The hydrophobic features of solvent-based digital inks, for their very nature, do not promote a proper leveling action of water-based glaze suspensions, usually applied as tile’s a final protection.

The product, thanks to the formulation based on organic polymers with wetting action, is able to eliminate the water-repellent effect that usually appears between glazes and ink decoration, therefore ensuring the proper leveling of the application.

Glydol G 9047 is also able to decrease the surface tension of glazes and engobes, without changing the cohesion values. This characteristic makes the product suitable even for glazes and engobes not applied before or after digital decorations.

The product must be added to the glaze under costant and slow stirring at density of application. It is recommend to wait at least ten minutes before use.
