Cleaner
Cleaners are technical fluids used for the maintenance and cleaning of digital printers in ceramic production. Their primary function is to remove ink residues, impurities, or particles that may accumulate inside the ink system or on the printheads, potentially compromising printer performance.
During normal operation, ceramic inks can dry or agglomerate in sensitive areas of the system—especially during production stops or under unfavorable environmental conditions. These build-ups can lead to clogging, reduced print quality, and, over time, irreversible damage to the printheads.
Cleaners are formulated to be chemically compatible with the inks in use, allowing them to clean effectively without altering or damaging internal printer components.
In ceramic manufacturing, proper use of cleaners helps maintain operational stability, reduces downtime, and extends the lifespan of system components. The choice of cleaner depends on factors such as the printhead technology, ink formulation, and the maintenance protocols recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
