A group of products used in the formulation and proper handling of water-based glues, inks, and glazes.
Most of these are polar substances that can perform different functions depending on the requirements of the suspension they are added to. Some act during ink milling, others function as dispersants to ensure suspension stability or as additives for the preparation of highly concentrated mixes. Certain formulations provide lubricating properties to help prevent drying issues, while rheology modifiers are used to control viscosity and limit sedimentation. There are also products with wetting or defoaming effects, which at the same time promote better surface leveling.
This is therefore a broad and versatile family of additives, which can be applied individually or in combination. Their purpose is to enable the production of water-based glues, inks, and glazes with the required characteristics while making the application process smoother and more reliable.
