The OXYCER range consists of additives mainly based on oxidizing compounds, specifically designed to prevent the formation of black core. This defect appears as an area—more or less extended—of dark brown to black (and in some cases even white) coloration, visible in cross-section within the ceramic body.

The oxygen-rich compounds in the formulation act effectively at the decomposition temperatures of organic molecules, releasing oxygen and generating intermediates that can escape as gases from the ceramic body before the sintering phase begins.
These products are applied through spraying systems at the dryer outlet or directly into the engobe, after evaluating their rheological impact.
