PREVENTOL P 301 is a preservative and biocidal agent that protects glazes and ceramic mixtures from bacterial attacks.

Free of volatile organic compounds and based on Bronopol and isothizolinones, the product guarantees a balanced and broad-spectrum protection of semi-finished products from both bacteria and fungi while reducing the adaptive tendency of microorganisms.

The suspension, once treated, can be storaged even for an extended period of time.

As a rule, PREVENTOL P 301 is applicable to suspensions with a pH ≤ 8.5 and a process temperature not exceeding 45 ºC.

The dosage may vary depending on the operating condition but it can usually range between 0.1% and 0.3% in relation to the amount of the semi-finished product to be treated. However, it is possible to optimise the added quantity through complementary hygiene measures during the production, storage and shipping phases.
