GIESSFIX PT 91 is a dispersant agent developed for ceramic bodies and glazes, designed to improve suspension performance and support efficient processing. Its phosphonate-based chemistry makes it particularly suitable for formulations where controlling the interaction with dissolved metal ions is essential.

The product complexes metal ions, particularly calcium and magnesium, which can interfere with the deflocculation process. It also helps prevent the precipitation of calcium sulphate, reducing the risk of efflorescence and contributing to more consistent production conditions.

The recommended dosage is 0.1–0.5%, calculated on the solids content, with direct addition during the milling stage.
