This is a specific precision tool able to define the breaking load and the flexural strength of the raw ceramic support by applying a force that gradually increases in the middle of the sample under examination, until it breaks.

In other words, the chrometer allows you to define the mechanical resistance values of the raw ceramic material that are normally regulated by the UNI EN ISO 10545/4.

The check of these values is important to take, when necessary, the proper actions to avoid the crack of the material during its path within the production plant that, by means of the conveyor belts, starts with the pressing phase and ends when the raw tile enters the kiln.
