Broad-spectrum powdered biocide designed for the preservation of a wide range of water-based formulations. It offers strong efficacy against bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and algae.
The product is suitable for protecting various formulations and products, including binders, fillers, sealants, grouts, slurries, and clays.

Typical use concentrations range from 0.05% to 0.40%, depending on the type of product being preserved and the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed.
For formulations intended for subsequent dilution, concentrations should be properly adjusted.
BIOCER 3 can be added at any stage of the production process. However, for liquid formulations, it is recommended to add it as early as possible to ensure continuous protection throughout production.
Care must be taken to ensure that both temperature and pH during the addition phase are suitable to maintain the product’s stability.

A formulation of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) on a solid carrier.
