BIOCER 3 is a broad-spectrum powder biocide for the preservation of a wide range of aqueous formulations and marked by a very broad activity spectrum against bacteria, yeasts, fungi and algae.

The product is suitable for the wet-state preservation of a wide range of formulations including adhesives, fillers, sealants, grouts, drilling muds, clays and other products for which a powder biocide is necessary.

Normal use concentrations are in the range 0.05 – 0.40%, depending on the product to be protected and the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed. Concentrations in formulations intended for subsequent dilution should be adjusted accordingly.

BIOCER 3 can be added at any time during production. However, especially when using in a liquid formulation, it is advised to add it as early as possible to give protection throughout the production process. Care should be taken to ensure that temperature and pH at the point of addition are suitable for stability of the product.
