AQUASINK 1000

Aquasink 1000 is a water-based repellent agent used for creating structures and 3D effects on the surface of raw tiles.

It is an organic suspension containing polymers in solvents and water with reserving properties.

When applied before the engobe or glaze, the product promotes a repellent action that enables the creation of a three-dimensional decorative effect at the application site. Once the product is applied to the surface, the repellent effect appears on the subsequent application.

After firing, the ceramic material at the application site appears white.

To increase the discharge quantity, the following recommendations should be followed:

• Use digital printheads with a high ink discharge rate

• For high-speed production lines or high discharge requirements, it is recommended to use two separate application bars (to prevent excessive stress on the printheads)

• When using a binary system, ensure 100% coverage (bitmap) whenever possible
