End-of-line products for surface protection treatments able to seal the porosities of the glaze that have been brought to the surface due to the polishing or lapping process, protecting the surface from dirt and chemical attack.

The products develop a cross-linking action within the open porosities and their formulation has been developed to decrease the reticulation process, promoting a progressive filling action that does not affect the aesthetic features of the ceramic material.

These products are largely based on nanometric colloidal silica which, from a chemical point of view, can be considered as silica-based glass inorganic polymers.
