Zschimmer & Schwarz at Cersaie 2025: a space shaped by technology, vision and materials

The 2025 edition of Cersaie — the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings — has just end. Once again, it proved to be a key event for dialogue and exchange between companies, professionals, and researchers in the industry. For this year’s edition, Zschimmer & Schwarz unveiled a redesigned exhibition space, created to clearly and directly express the company’s identity and its commitment to research and innovation in chemical solutions for the ceramic sector.

A focused and essential space
The design of the booth was guided by clarity and precision. Clean lines, defined perspectives, and a deliberately pared-down color palette — white, paired with the company’s institutional blue — gave shape to a space that was both essential and impactful.
This visual approach is the result of a long-term design and communication strategy developed by our marketing team in recent years. Through a process of refinement and reduction, we aimed to eliminate anything non-essential, creating an environment that conveys the technical and scientific expertise of Zschimmer & Schwarz in a direct and immediate way.

On water, strength & reliefs
In line with this concept, the company presented three projects that address current challenges and opportunities in the ceramic industry, all brought together under the theme On water, strength & reliefs. The journey began with water-based glues designed with sustainability and safety in mind. It then moved to temporary binders, which provide the mechanical stability needed during critical processing stages, and concluded with reserving agents formulated to create three-dimensional structures on raw tile surfaces — opening new possibilities in both design and surface technology.
