The DIGICER PRIMER range consists of a series of products for raw glazes treatment applied before the digital decoration process. Based on the formula, the different products are able to encourage a property rather than another but, in general, they have all been developed to promote the formation of a matrix (invisible film) that is the ideal precondition to properly receive the ink.

The mechanism of action is based on the ability to promote a uniform and controlled absorption of the ink on the glazed raw support, therefore reaching an improved colour rendering and a higher printing definition. The product, while reducing the drainage capacity of the tile support, does not affect the rheology of the glaze and it is also able to reduce vapor pressure, preventing the formation of condensation under the printheads.

DIGICER PRIMER must be applied by means of spray application systems, by using high pressure and fine nozzles to get a uniform discharge on the glazed surface. The dosage affects the drainage capacity.
