Milano, May 3rd<\/sup>\u00a02021 \u2013 The assembly of Ceramicolor,\u00a0Federchimica<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s industry association that represents ceramic color manufacturers and metallic oxides\u2019 producers, has just renewed the Governing Bodies, electing Pierluigi Ghirelli (Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco) as the new President of the association. Claudio Casolari (Metco) and Daniele Bandiera (Vetriceramici) have been elected vice presidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the association, which represents 16 industry companies that together generate revenues of over EUR 400 million, consist in Italian producers of ceramic frits and glazes, dyers and ceramic\/metal auxiliaries, inorganic pigments and metallic oxides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pierluigi Ghirelli has developed an extensive experience in the industrial ceramic field as CEO of Zschimmer & Schwarz Ceramco, recently expanding his position to ZS Asian (the ZS Indonesian Headquarters) and covering the role of Global Tile sector Manager for the entire Zschimmer & Schwarz Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am very honored to have been elected as President in such an association that in these last years has considerably grown, accepting new challenges on several fronts thanks to the high professional skills of its members. I would first of all like to thank the team who iI have at my side, composed by businessmen and manager technically skilled and strongly motivated \u2013 Ghirelli declared \u2013 The crisis in our sector together with the Pandemic of this past year have tested us. Our challenge, already partially won, is to be able to reinvent ourselves both in terms of products and processes. The National Association, which I am now honored to represent, collects together the best companies in the field that, cooperating with all industries of the ceramic district, have been played an important role in spreading and strengthening the Italian spirit as well as the aesthetic value of ceramic. I will keep on follow my predecessor, working to ensure a strong collaboration in the supply chain level in order to promote a further development of our District that is already an international case of excellence\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
