Based on the formulation prepared by the production operators, there are fundamental parameters that must be verified to determine whether the product is compliant and can therefore be placed on the market. These are the main operations carried out by the quality control operators.
To determine the density of the sample, a pycnometer is used. After weighing the empty container, it is filled with the product so that density can be calculated based on the measured mass and the known volume of the instrument.
Using a calibrated pH meter, the acidity or alkalinity of the sample is measured.
The process then continues with the analysis of electrical conductivity.
A viscometer is used to determine the product’s resistance to flow, a critical parameter to ensure proper application and functionality of the final product.
All measurements are recorded in the dedicated system and compared with the reference parameters. Once the batch’s compliance has been verified, the stamp is applied, thereby authorizing the product to proceed to the next stage or to be released to the market.
