A temporary strengthening agent based on synthetic polymers in aqueous solution, designed to increase the breaking load of unfired ceramic bodies and improve their resistance to the stresses of application machinery and the handling movements along conveyor lines.

Tenacer 420 is fully miscible and easily dispersible in ceramic slips. Its specific formulation has been developed to minimize or prevent the formation of black core. Laboratory testing is always recommended before use to verify the compatibility of Tenacer 420 with the slip. In some cases, over-fluidification or slight gel formation may occur, both of which can be easily corrected through uniform agitation.
