A range of products for engobes, smaltobbi and glazes specifically developed for the new valve application systems (electromechanical distribution) that have recently appeared on the market, joining traditional methods such as airless, vela and bell systems.

DIGICER GL products act both on the surface tension and rheology, providing the suspension with a high levelling power, outstanding suspending properties as well as a proper flow limit. The formulation also allows ceramic producers to use traditional glazes that cannot be involved in the modern digital piezoelectric application systems.

The product, water-soluble and available in liquid form, is mixed to the glaze (engobe, smaltobbio) and discharged on the support by a never-ending sequence of very tiny drops that uniformly cover the surface, avoiding laying problems that might occur in the following steps of the process.
Thanks to its high binding power, the formula also reduces – after the drying process – possible dusty effects in case of glaze and engobes marked by a low cohesive power.
