PRODUKT KG 9045 is a leveling agent for ceramic glazes based on polyalkylene glycols, designed to improve the flowability of the suspension during application, resulting in a perfectly uniform surface finish.

In general, the product provides good stability within the glaze suspension without increasing viscosity values and can be applied directly into the stirring tanks of the glazing line.

The dosage ranges from 0.1% to 0.4% depending on the solid content in suspension. After thoroughly dispersing PRODUKT KG 9045, the glaze is ready for application.

It is advised that if PRODUKT KG 9045 is added to glaze suspensions and/or slips that are not immediately used (temporarily stored), the additional use of an antibacterial biocide is recommended. The dosage of the biocide should be calibrated based on process conditions and parameters.
